‘‘O LORD, I know that the path of [life of] a man is not in himself; It is not within [the limited ability of] man [even one at his best] to choose and direct his steps [in life]’’
Jeremiah 10 verse 23
Whatever God is telling you is not simply for the hour alone, there is always a deeper and broader aspect of knowledge to it. God is Almighty. He does not think small. A simple instruction is never just simple with God. It sets off a chain reaction towards something great.
Joseph and Mary did not have the full knowledge of who Jesus was. They did not know He will later become the propitiation for their sins. They did not know the instructions they were following would have a transgenerational impact. They simply obeyed.
Don’t struggle with that seemingly little instruction God is giving you. You are withholding your yourself in the Spirit. Nations are waiting for you to move. Every instruction God gave Mary and Joseph was to the end that prophecy be fulfilled. But lives were changed and are still being changed just because they decided to follow God without having all the pieces in the jigsaw puzzle all put together.
You will eventually get there — that destined place if you live on instructions.
Every word of prophecy means something. Always write it down. Every instruction matters. No matter how long you pray, a man that fulfils destiny at last is a man that lives on instructions.
You can live a prophetic life just like Jesus did and end up ticking all of the prophecies.
