God's plan for you

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.'' Jeremiah 29 verse 11

Today God is saying to you that His plans for you are of good. It's not just good, it is of peace. And it is also for your future. God thinks way ahead of you. His instructions always go beyond the now. There are three things you must establish in your heart about God.

God is thinking of you. Stop thinking He does not have you in mind. Do not think you are so minor in all of His creations. You are not minor. His mind is full of thoughts of you, how to increase you, how to prosper you, how you will eat, the clothes you will wear. Everything that bothers you. Everything you can think of. He is thinking of all these things. He is thinking of you.

These thoughts are of peace, of good. Nothing harmful. Nothing disastrous. Everything good. His nature is good. His nature cannot permit evil thinking.

He is thinking of your future. God thinks ahead of you. He is the all-knowing God. He sees ahead of you which is why you might not understand every instruction in the now.

When my bones were being formed, carefully put together in my mother's womb, when I was growing there in secret, you knew that I was there— you saw me before I was born. The days allotted to me had all been recorded in your book before any of them ever began. Psalm 139 verses 15-16 GNT

Can you see how deliberate God is about you? Right from your mother's womb, even before she noticed you were there, he saw you there. He knows how your life will play out. He wants to guide you to be all that you were made to be. He cares about you much more than you care about yourself. Don't leave Him out of your life wanting to figure out everything yourself. Put Him first and trust Him.
