He is God Alone

"'And the magicians did so with their enchantments to bring forth lice, but they could not: so there were lice upon man, and upon beast. Then the magicians said unto Pharaoh, This is the finger of God: and Pharaoh's heart was hardened, and he hearkened not unto them; as the LORD had said.’’ Exodus 8:18-19

Today, I want you to take time out to worship God. God deserves to be worshipped all day and all night long because He is God and He is God alone. There is this adage that if you know how to meditate well, you will give God thanks more. There are so many reasons to give worship God and today I can’t help but meditate on how great the God we serve is. I was reading Exodus recently and just kept meditating on the miracles God did to bring His people (Israelites) out of Egypt.

For the first three miracles God did in Egypt through Moses and Aaron, the King of Egypt would call his magicians instructing them to perform the same miracle. They actually did do it. This made the King of Egypt more stubborn because he thought our gods could do it too. The magicians, however, could not reverse what God had done. They could not turn the blood river Nile back to a pure flowing river. They couldn’t get rid of the frogs God had brought. They couldn’t reverse whatever God did. And, after the third miracle, they failed to replicate all other miracles.

By the fourth miracle, they bowed and said to their King, God had done this.

Our God is so great. So mighty. He is God alone. He is the God of gods. He is the King of kings. The Lord of lords. He is in His own class.

Who is he that speaks when the Lord of hosts has spoken? Who can judge our God?

Who can open a door He Has shut? Or shut a door He has opened? He is the great I am. The whole earth trembles at His feet. Worship Him.
