Getting Convictions!

'I pray that the light of God will illuminate the eyes of your imagination, flooding you with light, until you experience the full revelation of the hope of his calling —that is, the wealth of God’s glorious inheritances that he finds in us, his holy ones!' Ephesians 1:18

Conviction is simply the word of God, so deeply rooted in you which produces faith that commands your environment. Every Christian should live by convictions. Convictions about their health. Convictions on prosperity. Convictions on fulfillment of destiny. Convictions that God is with you no matter what. Convictions. Convictions. Convictions.

Convictions take a great deal of meditation to be birthed. It takes light given by the HolySpirit to be birthed. It's more than knowledge. You have to know that you know that you know that you are healed for you to be healed.

CONVICTION = MEDITATION IN GOD'S WORD + LIGHT GIVEN BY THE HOLYSPIRIT

If you can see it, then you can have it.

Today, I want you to make up your mind to have convictions. See them as investments for your future. You can truly live in health for the rest of your life if your heart is convinced. And if you've tried before, don't give up so easily. Convictions are the fruit of meditation and patience. The issue we face is that we want something, and we want it here and now. Maybe, you have tried to meditate on a particular subject in God's word but after a while, gave up because it seemed like it was not working. I get it. I think we all have gone through that.

Light is given by the HolySpirit. God gives understanding to the meek. If you want anything enduring in God's word, you have to pray for light. You have to wait until God gives you.

To get the finest gold, extra effort and time is needed. If gold smiths give up too easily, the result will be impurities, not poor gold. The beautiful things of life take time to unfold. Same as convictions. Maybe, if you got it so easily, you would also let go of it easily. Whenever time, effort, and patience are exercised into something, when we finally have it, we treasure it with all our heart.

Some of us spent years to get a degree and some took courses for a period just to get certified. It's the same way you have to entreat God's word. You stay on it until it yields results. Don't give up because you didn't get it instantly. Don't give up because it did not seem to work several times. Take the course to the end. Wait for that day, light will dawn upon your heart. Don't give up now. Look around you, there are people it is working for. God's word works. You are God's child too. It will work for you too. You just need to complete the course. Keep meditating as you continue to pray for light until you receive it. And when you have it, you can put it to work any day and time. It becomes a part of you that no one can take away. Is there a conviction you have been wanting to have? It's time to go for it again! If it is God's word, then it is your inheritance, go for it!

SAY AFTER ME: Father, grant me light concerning my inheritance in Christ Jesus. Help me to stay on your word until I see what belongs to me clearly in Christ. Amen. I declare that it is my year of convictions, in Jesus' Name!
