Your Most Important Assignment

"For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written. The just shall live by faith.” Romans 1 verse 17

The most important assignment of a believer is to keep believing. Our verse for the day is written several times in the Bible. The just shall live by faith. You started this new life by faith, and you can only keep going by faith. Even our walk with God is by faith. So, we have to keep believing in God, no matter what.

Kathryn Kuhlman once said, "Faith in a big God is enough to cross any hurdle". Challenges in life do not last forever. When we go through challenges, they present as though they don't have an expiry date. But they shall eventually pass away. I love how the Bible starts some stories with, "And it came to pass" It means nothing whatsoever, no matter how crazy it may seem to appear at the time, it will still pass away. The Bible says. The righteous person faces many troubles, but the Lord comes to the rescue each time. Our God is faithful and true to us, He will not suffer our foot to be moved. He will always show up for us.

Believe God. Don't give up now. God is not giving you a hard time. He is making your faith in Him stronger. A strong faith is a faith that is proven and tested. A tested and proven faith will come to a point just like Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego; that no matter what comes your way, you can't let go of your God.

"Jesus answered them, “Do you finally believe? In fact, you’re about to make a run for it—saving your own skins and abandoning me. But I’m not abandoned. The Father is with me. I’ve told you all this so that trusting me, you will be unshakable and assured, deeply at peace. In this godless world, you will continue to experience difficulties. But take heart! I’ve conquered the world.”

In all His glory and splendor, even our Lord went through challenges for our sake. He even spent three days in hell, in real torment. Yet, He came out. He came out. He came out with a full victory for us. You, yes you will surely come out victorious. Your most important assignment on earth is to keep believing in God.

SAY AFTER ME: I (Jesunifemi Adeleye) believe in God no matter what. I hold onto my faith in God firmly. Just, like my Lord, Jesus overcame this world. I will prevail over every challenge in His name. Amen
