The Power of a Lie

Updated: Sep 10, 2024

Sometimes, we believe a lie without realizing it.

We turn the thoughts over and again in our heads until we start to see it as the truth.

Truth is reality. A lie can never pass as the truth. The only problem is that you can't see it as a lie.

The very moment light shines upon our minds, the veil comes off and we are set free.

We are set free.

Every single time you believe a lie, it imprisons you. It's crazy because you don't even know its effect on you. It grows and then becomes a stronghold, except you are set free.

You can only tell when the blindfold is removed.

If you believe you don't deserve God's love anymore, then you have believed a lie because He loved us while we were still sinners. Beloved, you never even deserved it!

When the blindfold comes off, happy are you. You can't help the laughter that bursts forth; it rushes out at the insanity of what a lie can do to you.

You stare the devil in the eyes and laugh at his foolish tactics. He shrinks and feels so small when his ways are exposed.

There's no small lie,

Every lie imprisons you,

Behind every lie is the Devil. He's the father of lies. He has a ministry of sowing lies into the hearts of men until they self-destruct. He leaves men with a lie and goes on His way. Then he returns to see that his seed has blossomed into a tree.

Some have believed a generational lie, putting their children yet to come in darkness, while some are still living in it.

It's our responsibility to seek the truth and break free. Whoever seeks finds.

The truth is always unveiled when you seek for it.

Leave no tables unturned,

Leave no questions unanswered,

Because every question unanswered is a potential prison.

I am the way, the truth, and the life. Those are the words of Jesus to us.

God is the Father of Light. His first words that were ever recorded were, "Light be!"

I pray that God grants you light and dispels every darkness the devil has planted in your heart even as you read this.

This started as a poem but turned out as a letter. It still contains God's message to us either way.

Break free!
