The Missing Keyyyy🗝️

In our Christian journey, we need to know our roles clearly. What do I have to do? What does God have to do? It takes two people to make a relationship work. The roles cannot be reversed or exchanged. It’s your job to seek God. It’s your job to pray. It’s your job to ask. It’s your job to call upon Him. It’s your job to obey His instructions.

When Jesus told Peter to launch out of the deep for a great catch? What if he never did? What if he didn’t even allow Jesus to use his boat to preach? The story would have unfolded in a different way.

There are some things God can never do for you. You will have to do it yourself. You need to know your part and play it well.

It is only someone who seeks that finds. It’s my part to create an atmosphere to hear God. It’s my part to set time apart for God and show up there. It’s my part to go ahead and obey God’s word no matter how difficult it might seem.

Do you know how tiring it is for a guy to be one-sidedly chasing after a girl? Or how tiring it is for a girl that is waiting for a guy to make a move. One sided relationships are burdensome. Every lady prays for an intentional man but intentionality isn’t stumbled upon. It’s built. You decide to be intentional.

Maybe your relationship with God is also dry and boring because it is one-sided. Maybe you’re waiting for God to do all of the work and put in all the efforts. That could happen initially but it can’t be sustained. Go out of your way to seek God more this month. Have you started planning how you will spend time with God every day? week? weekend? What books are you reading this month? How much time are you willing to invest to find God. Yes, you need to find God. Or else, why will Jesus tell us to seek so that we can find.

Why will God say this to Jeremiah?

“You will search for me, and when you search for me with all your heart, you will find me. I will let you find me.” This message is from the Lord.”

‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭29‬:‭13‬

Go out of your way this month to seek God and you will look back at the end of the month and be in awe. If you will put in more efforts in anything in life, I’m learning that you will become better, more improved and balanced.

What if intentionality was the missing key all along?
