God Is Love

'''No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.'' 1 John 4 verse 12

It's been fourteen days of writing teas to you. Thank you for going on this journey with me. I hope you have been blessed in several ways at one point or the other.

Today's scripture reveals how we can truly represent God in our world. How to reveal God through us? Many people around us have questions. Some have made indirect conclusions about who God is without ever going through the process of knowing Him.

They say common things like why a supposedly good God will allow wicked things to happen to good people. It is a common phrase. It has become an excuse for people not to believe in God.

But the first thing God reveals to those who truly know Him is His love. His love for us. And His incessant demand that we love others.

When you begin to yield to God, obeying His commandments to love others. No one will tell you that God is good, you will come to know it. When God says to meet that person's needs. Feed that person. Give out those clothes. Don't talk to people like that. If we don't lean on God's grace to genuinely love people and obey God, we might struggle to do these things.

Sometimes we even have legitimate excuses as to why not to forgive but God says to forgive and even pray for the person. The more you walk in love, the more that theory that God is a wicked God fizzles out of you. God is good. He is love. He is not capable of evil. It's not in His capacity to do evil.

The more you walk in love, the more come into light of this truth.

This is a reminder to obey the love commandment. It's our way of revealing God to the world that the God we serve is love Himself. Walk in love today.
